Şatıbi Association for Education and Support is an officially registered Turkish charitable organization, founded in mid-2021. It is named after Imam Abu Ishaq Şatıbi , in reference to the city of Shatiba with which his title is associated, and inspired by his approach that views faith as a path to building the human being, guiding conduct, and serving the public good. The association is rooted in a value-based vision that considers human dignity the foundation of development and places people at the heart of all relief and educational work.

The association began its journey with two projects, then gradually expanded its work through structured educational and humanitarian tracks. By 2025, it had implemented nearly 129 projects, benefiting more than 320,000 individuals. This growth is guided by a clear understanding of humanitarian needs, a commitment to institutional work, and a focus on linking giving to measurable impact.

Şatıbi Association operates in the fields of education and humanitarian relief based on the conviction that building people comes before building structures, and that embedding moral and religious values in daily life contributes to stability at both individual and community levels. Its programs follow a practical methodology that integrates education, humanitarian support, and administrative organization, serving diverse segments of society.

The association adheres to modern administrative practices in managing and monitoring its projects and adopts a principle of continuous improvement across its operations. Şatıbi Association is accredited by the Humanitarian Work Department of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs under registration number 4841, reflecting its compliance with recognized standards in this field.

As a non-profit public benefit organization, the association operates under the supervision of the Directorate of Associations of the Turkish Ministry of Interior and is officially licensed under Decision No. 34-263/156. It follows a clear governance framework that includes structured financial management, internal oversight, and legally accredited external auditing, ensuring sound procedures, responsible resource management, and accountability to donors and beneficiaries alike.

Article (2): The Association’s Mission and General Objectives

The association aims to contribute to the advancement of communities through:

  • Introducing the scholarly and intellectual contributions of Imam Şatıbi and reviving his legacy.
  • Supporting education as the foundation for human development and societal stability.

First: Educational Field

The association supports and develops the educational process through the following:

Supporting Students and Learners

Providing scholarships and educational assistance to students at various academic levels, within and beyond the association’s areas of operation, along with necessary educational supplies.

Developing Educational Institutions

Contributing to the establishment, management, support, or development of schools, institutes, educational centers, learning facilities, and research centers, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Training and Capacity Building

Organizing educational and vocational training programs in various fields, such as languages, computer skills, professional skills, human development, and the arts, in line with community needs.

Cultural and Academic Activities

Hosting seminars, lectures, academic and cultural forums, and participating in events that promote awareness and knowledge.

Second: Humanitarian and Charitable Field

The association seeks to alleviate the suffering of those in need and those affected by crises through:

Emergency and Disaster Relief

Providing urgent assistance during wars and natural disasters, including food, medicine, shelter, clothing, and other necessities.

Care for Vulnerable Groups

Supporting orphans, widows, the elderly, persons with disabilities, refugees, the poor, and stranded individuals in ways that preserve their human dignity.

Health and Medical Support

Contributing to the treatment of patients in need, providing medicines and medical supplies, and supporting the establishment or operation of health centers, clinics, and mobile medical teams.

Humanitarian Facilities

Contributing to the establishment or support of orphanages, shelters, community kitchens, social and cultural centers, and humanitarian service facilities.

Emergency Preparedness

Establishing specialized rapid-response teams for emergencies, equipping them with necessary tools and training, and setting up logistical centers to support relief operations.
